When it comes to music jokes, there are a lot of different kinds. Some of them are great, while others can be pretty corny. But then there are a few that are just so good, that they’re worth telling over and over again. One of those types of jokes is the drum joke. Drummer jokes are jokes that are directed at drummers and percussionists, oftentimes impugning their musicianship or intelligence. They have been around for a long time, and they are still funny to this day.
There once was a guy who worked as a drummer in a band. One day, he was out of work. So he went to the union office and asked them about available jobs. They told him that there were lots of gigs in Greece. So he packed his bags and headed off to Greece. He got there and found a job playing in a small pub. It was a great gig and he made lots of money. After a while, he got tired of the grind and wanted a new challenge. So he packed up his gear and headed back to the United States. He tried to find a job, but there were no gigs in the US. So he went to the union office again and they told him that there were plenty of gigs in Greece. So he went back to Greece and found another job. But it wasn’t as lucrative as the first one. After a while, he got sick of the grind and wanted to quit. But he couldn’t because his wife liked the money and he didn’t want to break up the family. So he quit and moved back to the United States.
One of the best drummer jokes involves a guy who worked as a tin horn player in a band. One day, a guy came in and asked to be in the band. The guy agreed, but he said that he would play the tin horn. The other members of the band weren’t happy about this, so they fired him.
Another great drummer joke involves a guy who was trying to sell his drum set. He was going to try and get a lot of money for it, so he advertised that it had been played by the Rolling Stones. A few days later, a guy came in and offered him a lot of money for it. The drummer was so shocked that he dropped the price to half of what he had originally asked for.
There are a lot of other great drum jokes out there, too. Some of them are even good enough to tell to your non-drummer friends. Just make sure that you know your audience and the audience of your jokes, because some of them may not be appropriate for certain audiences.
